Overview

Tove is an internal AI assistant operated by SmartSkill/Visma. This policy explains how Tove handles account information and data from connected integrations such as Atlassian Jira.

Information We Process

Tove processes the information you provide in chat, uploaded files, generated outputs, user settings, and integration metadata needed to operate the service.

When you connect Atlassian, Tove stores your selected Atlassian site, granted scopes, token expiry metadata, and encrypted OAuth tokens so Tove can perform Jira actions on your behalf.

How We Use Information

We use this information to provide chat functionality, run tools you request, access Jira with your existing permissions, maintain user preferences, troubleshoot errors, and improve operational reliability.

Atlassian Access

Jira operations are performed only after you connect your Atlassian account. Tove uses OAuth tokens scoped to your account and respects the permissions granted by Atlassian and your organization.

You can disconnect Atlassian from Tove at any time from Min Side under Integrasjoner. Disconnecting removes the stored OAuth tokens from Tove.

Storage and Security

OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage. Access to Tove and its data is limited to authorized users and infrastructure. We do not sell user data.

Data Sharing

Tove may send prompts, files, and tool inputs to configured AI providers and integration APIs when required to complete your request. For Atlassian integrations, Jira data is accessed through Atlassian APIs using your granted OAuth access.
